The candidate portal and protected MatchDesk at profil.bernold-entwicklung.ch provide additional functions, particularly the submission and management of application documents. Website visits and contact

When you visit the website, the hosting infrastructure may process technical data such as your IP address, time of access, requested page, browser and operating system. These data support delivery, security and troubleshooting. When you contact us by email or telephone, we process your contact details and enquiry to respond and to prepare or carry out a working relationship.

Self-checks, interactive guidance and worksheets

Answers in the Mandate Compass, public self-checks and interactive guidance are evaluated in your browser by this website. They are not automatically sent to us or stored in a separate database. Results are for orientation and do not constitute automated decisions about an application or mandate. Worksheet notes are also processed in your browser. You can save them as a PDF using the print function. Downloaded and printed documents are your responsibility.

Email draft forms

The question form and conversation or result links open your email application with a prepared draft. We receive the information only when you send the email yourself. Your email provider uses its own infrastructure for transmission. Please include only information needed for your enquiry.

Purposes and retention

We process personal data to provide and secure the website, respond to enquiries, prepare and deliver our services, and fulfil legal obligations. Data are retained for as long as required by the purpose, statutory retention duties or the establishment and defence of claims. They are then deleted or anonymised unless further lawful retention is necessary.

Service providers and disclosure abroad

We use service providers for hosting, email and technical support. These providers may process technical connection data. Depending on the infrastructure used, processing may take place outside Switzerland. Such disclosures are subject to the Swiss FADP requirements for adequate protection, appropriate safeguards or statutory exceptions. Storage exclusively in Switzerland is not promised.

Local storage and external links

The website code we embed does not use marketing or analytics tools. A language preference may be stored locally in your browser. Our language selection function does not transmit this information to us; you can remove it through your browser settings. Necessary functions of the hosting infrastructure are unaffected. External services, including LinkedIn and linked knowledge resources, are accessed through links. Their providers’ privacy notices apply when you visit them.

Your rights under Swiss data protection law

Under the Swiss FADP, you may request information about the processing of your personal data and correction of inaccurate data. Where statutory conditions are met, you may request deletion or cessation of processing and the release or transfer of your data. We may request appropriate proof of identity to prevent unauthorised disclosure.

Supervision and security

You may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) about data protection concerns. We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. Risk-free transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed.
